I helped develop an e-learning course for Oxfam Canada that encouraged women in rural Indonesia to participate in their village budgeting process. This interactive module inspires women to get the issues they care about on the agenda and funded, while providing tips on how to navigate the process and overcome barriers.

I worked with Hello Cool World to write the proposal and secure the job, and then assisted on strategy, storyboarding and script-writing. To overcome low literacy barriers, we used a series of animated videos. To make the process more relatable, I advocated a storytelling approach that follows the fictional journey of a young Indonesian woman expecting her first child .

Using the e-learning software, Storyline 360, I produced the responsive HTML 5 course optimized for mobile users. I also provided documentation and advice on publishing formats and technology options, and ensured its integration into an online learning platform.

The course has been very well received by its audience.

Although the videos are in Indonesian, I produced an English version of the course with closed captions so others can follow along.
